Los Angeles Airplane Flight - You Take The Controls

You're in the pilot's seat with a certified flight instructor guiding you every step of the way, from takeoff to landing. In addition, you will receive a Certificate of First Flight commemorating your first time at the controls, a photograph of you with the plane, and a student pilot logbook signed by the instructor which may be credited as an actual flight lesson if you continue your training.

What a fantastic gift for someone who has always wanted that feeling of one of life's greatest accomplishments: the thrill of rolling down the runway, leaving the earth under your own control, and the sheer joy of seeing mountains, lakes, highways and familiar landmarks pass under your wings.

Your Flight Instructor will be with you every second to ensure your safety. And while you are at it, you will experience the City of Angels from the angels' own viewpoint! "Pilots" must be 12 or older. Companions may sign up for the Passenger Tour and come along to take photos and enjoy the experience along with you!

Tour Itinerary:
You will be taking off from the Van Nuys Airport, long regarded as the Airport to the Stars, and a popular film location for such famous movies as Casablanca and more.

From the air, you will be afforded breathtaking views of downtown Los Angeles, the Pacific coast, the beautiful Santa Monica and San Bernardino Mountains, and prominent landmarks. Bring a passenger who can also enjoy the mile-high sightseeing and take pictures of your experience.

Limousine transportation is available upon request for an additional fee.

Options:

60-Minute Air Tour: total experience approximately 90 minutes, includes pre-flight and post-flight briefing and 60 minutes flight time.

Pilot: "Pilots" must be age 12 or older. You take the controls with a certified flight instructor assisting you from take-off through landing.

Passenger: You ride in the plane and can take photos or video of the experience of your companion piloting the airplane.

~ There are no meals on this flight.
~ Children under 2 may travel free of charge, but you must provide a child seat for safety.
~ Pregnant women should check with their doctor; flight is not prohibited for pregnant women, but you take the flight at your own risk.
~ Changes within 48 hours of departure for day tours are not allowed.
~ Changes within 72 hours of departure on evening tours are not allowed.
~ You MUST reconfirm your reservations a minimum of 24 to 48 hours prior to travel. Failure to do so may result in a loss of your seat, and there will be no refund. All non-confirmed reservations are subject to cancellation.
